So the night after I complain that Franz Ferdinand isn't touring the eastern US, I am informed that they, too, will be performing for an MTV taping... Wednesday, July 27. Unfortunately, the box office was closed by the time the Hot Hot Heat concert let out (or actually had already closed by the time the announcement was made).

Of all the tapings, this is the one I most need to see. But I don't want to see it alone. Please, someone else say they want to go! Unfortunately, it seems rather difficult now to get tickets from the box office, but ticket acquisition will be figured out later. (Ticketmaster sales begin Friday.)

Hot Hot Heat's guitar tech looked rather Franz-Ferdinand-y, I have to say.
